Talking about anxiety is a hard topic because it is really hard to put into words what it's like to live with it. Sarah Wilson found a way and not only does she capture all the nuances and funny tidbits this debilitating condition can bring, but she also gives tools and helpful tricks to help you past the pages. When I'm anxious, I'll sometimes just grab the book to feel seen. It's a must have for anyone struggling with anxiety or really for anyone who loves anyone struggling with anxiety. It paints the picture of it so well and can help those who've never had it, understand a little more.
Emotions are tough. Figuring out what you are really feeling has always been a struggle for me. I feel a lot and it usually all comes out as tearful. So, I have always assumed that I was depressed or sad or gloomy. Reading through Brene' Brown's book, you soon discover that yes, I might cry at everything, but there's anger and frustration there too. This book is for anyone who cares what their feelings and emotions project as well as space for you to own the real deep seeds of what your feeling. I just love that there are people in the world who are thinking this deeply about emotions. It's important and nothing to write off. This is a relationship manual. A must have!
